YOUR SPACE, YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy at r8it Studio.

This notice explains how information is used when you create an account, upload a room photo, and generate a design with r8it Studio.

Your account

We use Supabase to manage sign-in and store your account, design history, and credit balance. You can use email and password or an available Google sign-in option. Login credentials are handled by the authentication provider.

Your room photos and designs

When you upload a room photo or capture one with your camera, it is used to create your requested design. Your photos, generated images, room and style selections, and design notes are stored in private Supabase storage and account records. Other users cannot browse them. Authorized service operators and the providers that process the request may access them to deliver and maintain the service.

Room photos and design instructions are sent to OpenAI to generate a new image. OpenAI processes those inputs under its API data policies. Camera access requires your browser’s permission and is used to capture the room photo you choose to submit.

Credits and payments

When payments are available, checkout is handled by the payment provider shown at purchase. We store order references, payment status, and purchased credit amounts so that we can maintain your balance. Payment credentials are collected by the checkout provider, not in your studio profile.

Hosting and analytics

The website is hosted on AWS. When configured and permitted by your browser preference, PostHog collects basic page-view and account-identification information to help us understand site usage. Session recording and automatic interaction capture are disabled. Room photos and design notes are not included in analytics events. Analytics respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting.

Your choices

You choose which photos to upload and whether to grant camera access. You can revoke camera permission in your browser settings and sign out from your studio. Use photos you have permission to process and avoid including personal information that is not needed for the design.
